SINGING TOGETHER IS BETTER VIRTUAL CHOIR, Bandung - INDONESIA

Peace be with you,

This Virtual Choir will involve singers and conductors all over the world, along with the respective World Choir Figure. This program expected to stimulate new singing activities among nations and encourage all of us to be active, creative, and positive in continuing our lives through the difficult times due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Therefore, Bandung Choral Society invites singers, conductors, and other musicians to join hands and calling for SINGING TOGETHER BETTER.

Before download the recording materials, please read all the guidelines below.

SCORES AND RECORDING MATERIALS CAN BE FOUND HERE.

WHAT
1. Shoot your video LANDSCAPE.
2. Wear a coloured collared shirt (free choice) with a plain background (recommended white)
3. Record video in a quiet room with dry acoustics. Ensure minimal noise from around. NO WIND, NO TRAFFIC, NO PETS NOISES.
4. Look at the camera as often as possible while recording and adjust the face distance to the camera around 30 - 50 cm.

HOW
1. Download voice guide and scores according to your voice type HERE.
2. Prepare two gadgets to record. One gadget for appearance and another to hear voice guide(Use headphone so voice guide does not leak in the recording).
3. Clap/snap on beats 4 & 5 of the beat count in, to ease video syncing.
4. When finished the song, hold the pose with a smile and wave at the camera for five seconds then, turn off the recording.

WHEN

Dateline for video submission is JUNE 18, 2020.

WHERE
1. The video must be posted on YouTube, UNLISTED.
2. Include details (VOICE TYPE - FULL NAME - SONG TITLE) when uploading the video to make it easier for the committee to identify the data. (EX: Tenor 1 - Erich Henoch - Singing together is better)
3. Share the video link that was posted on YouTube HERE.
